Both Livia and I bought ground ivy at Weston Gardens yesterday. I usually don’t buy a new plant until I’ve had a chance to read about it at either the Aggie Horticulture web site, or PlantFiles at Dave’s Garden. The latter is great for finding out how real gardeners feel about plants.

Well, I didn’t find ground ivy on the Aggie web site, but I got an earful at Dave’s. Apparently, this stuff is beyond invasive. It’s aggressive, and impossible to control. I’m eating the ten bucks I spent on it, and tossing it as a public service.

I emailed Liv about it, and she’s planted it already, and is planning to pull it back out tomorrow.
