The garden is mostly dormant at the moment, except for a few lettuces, which aren’t big enough to produce a decent salad yet. I’m not holding my breath…
I have been plotting the overthrow of the garage mess recently. Right now, I have power tools, home repair items, craft crap, trash cans and garden toys all crammed into a one car garage. It’s a disaster—but soon, it will be more organized, because this morning, Santa delivered this:
My cute little garden shed, primed and ready to paint as soon as the weather warms up again. And yes, that white stuff is snow, because the night before Christmas, Santa brought this:
Blowing snow, shot through the dining room window. I haven’t seen this kind of brutal horizontal blowing snow since I lived in Michigan. It went on all day Christmas Eve, and left behind about three inches of standing snow.
The backyard late on Christmas Eve, shot from the kitchen, because it was beyond freezing outside, and icy.
The front yard under snow, shot from my bedroom window.
